New online game launches November 24th at Dublin Games Festival
FOR many of us, pizza and gaming are two halves of a whole and our ideal night in is to munch and mash to our hearts content. But what if playing video games could earn points and actual, real-life pizza?
Four Star Pizza, the purveyors of honestly delicious pizza made fresh from scratch, is enabling just that with its new Epic Pizza Challenge game, which launches this Saturday at the Dublin Games Festival where the brand is a key sponsor. Epic Pizza Challenge can be played for free in Northern Ireland at https://game.fourstarpizza.co.uk.
The super fun, free online game which can be played on mobile, tablet and desktop is set over six levels and the main objective is to collect the right ingredients to create the perfect freshly made Four Star Pizza dough base and five types of mouth-watering pizza. It’s no walk in the park though as levels get faster and more difficult as you progress through the levels, so only the fleetest of finger will end up super sizing their Pizza rewards.
Points mean Pizza…and more
After successfully completing the six levels the player unlocks a rewards screen where they can input their Four Star Pizza account e-mail to trigger the redemption of points accrued during game play. These points can then be used to pay for online orders of pizza, sides, cookies, soft drinks and more. Every month, each unique player is entitled to accrue 5,000 Rewards Points from the Epic Pizza Challenge Game.
The ingredients you need to collect in each stage will be displayed on the right side of the screen. Grabbing the wrong ingredient will cause the player to lose one pizza life. If the player loses three lives or is unable to collect enough points in the time allocated for each stage, they will have to start the level again. In each level you collect points and bonuses depending on time.
Brian Clarke, Head of Marketing at Four Star Pizza said, “Four Star Pizza’s Epic Pizza Challenge embodies the perfect mashup between the mobile gaming craze and delicious food, connecting players and customers through the Four Star Rewards Program. The idea is to make the entire experience of earning points fun and challenging. The unique gameplay is inspired by vintage arcade games and the addictive soundtrack makes Epic Pizza Challenge the perfect experience for all around pizza lovers.”
Four Star Pizza’s Rewards Program was launched in May 2018 and is integrated to the online ordering website. Customers also accrue points when ordering product and can redeem them as discounts in future purchases.
